A deep-tech startup developing advanced sensing and AI systems is looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer to join its core team. This role is focused on engineers with a strong foundation in signal processing and physical systems, who enjoy building end-to-end algorithmic solutions — from research to real-world deployment. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end development of real-time algorithms for sensing systems Develop algorithms for processing noisy real-world signals (RF / optical / video / audio / point cloud) Design systems that generate robust, real-time insights and decision-making Drive experimentation, data collection, and system optimization Work closely with a multidisciplinary team (HW, FPGA, embedded, systems) Take part in bringing algorithms into real-world systems, not just offline models
Requirements B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Physics / Computer Science or similar 3+ years of experience developing algorithmic systems for real-world applications (sensing / signal processing / robotics / decision systems) Strong hands-on experience in Signal Processing (DSP) – must (e.g., filtering, detection, estimation, time/frequency domain analysis) Experience working with physical signals (RF / optical / video / audio / point cloud) Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ Ability to own problems end-to-end — from concept to working system Proven track record and stable employment history Nice to have (strong advantage) Experience with RF systems / communications / radar / optics + signal processing Background in Machine Learning applied to signals (not pure data science) Experience integrating algorithms into real-time systems Background from elite technological units or deep-tech companies Additional Details Full onsite role – 5 days (Yigal Alon, Tel Aviv) High ownership, fast-moving environment Work on cutting-edge sensing systems across defense, civilian, and industrial domains
