Senior Mechanical Engineer – R&D (Mechanical, Civil and Environment JB-6389)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical engineering domain within our R&D team. In this role, you will design and develop advanced mechanical systems for an innovative automated wildfire defense technology, combining robotics, automation, and large-scale outdoor systems. Location: Tel-Aviv and Holon, on-site Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems from concept to production. • Mentor and guide a team of mechanical engineers. • Collaborate closely with electrical, control, and software teams. • Perform structural, thermal, and kinematic analyses. • Participate in field testing and system deployment. • Manage CAD models and design documentation (DFM/DFX).
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (minimum). • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design of electro-mechanical and automated systems. • Proven leadership and hands-on design capability. • Strong experience with SolidWorks. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary R&D environment. Preferred • Experience with large-scale or outdoor systems, robotics, or automation. • Experience leading an R&D mechanical engineering team. • Field testing and multidisciplinary system integration experience.
