(PhD) Optical Laser Engineer for a quantum photonic device (Sciences JB-6248)
An amazing start-up, developing high-end nano technology at the seed stage is looking for a senior Laser engineer to Lead the measurement & development of a quantum photonic device at the forefront of technology. In the position, you Should have a Practical experience and understanding of laser alignment, solid-state laser CW, FEMTO laser, and Fiber lasers. Simulation, Systems Engineering, Product Development, Data Analysis, Photonics, Optical System Design and Analysis, Image Processing, and Tolerance Analysis.
Requirements: • Ph.D. / Msc. in Electrical Eng./ Electro-optics / Material Eng./Physics. (Postdoc – an advantage). • Extensive experience in laser systems setup on optical table systems for characterization and manipulation. • >3 years of practical experience in R&D of electro-optic systems, building optical experiments, and implementing computer-based experimental control. • >3 years of HO experience in developing laser systems: design, simulations, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and debugging. • Experience in 3D design software packages: Solidworks, SolidEdge, etc. • Coding: Python, MATLAB, C++, COMSOL, LabVIEW • Background in control systems – an advantage • Ability to work independently and in a team. • Ambitious, self-responsible, goal-oriented team player open to new challenges. • Excellent interpersonal skills.
