Design and develop core backend components of our cloud-based digital health platform. Own features end to end — from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring. Contribute to architectural and technological decisions that shape our product. Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver production-ready features. Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code that runs in real hospital environments.
5+ years of backend experience, including 3+ years in Python (FastAPI or equivalent ASGI framework). Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures; hands-on experience with GCP is a plus. Experience with Kubernetes and containerized production environments. Solid grasp of asynchronous programming and distributed systems (queues, workers, concurrency). Proven experience working with NoSQL databases; familiarity with SQL is an advantage. Strong understanding of backend and cloud security principles, with practical experience building secure, reliable systems. Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and deployment automation. Comfortable working in English, in a team that values ownership, clarity, and reliability. Bonus points for Experience with FHIR / healthcare data or other regulated environments. Familiarity with Redis, Pub/Sub, or Celery.
