Senior High-Speed Digital Board Design Engineer (Hardware & Electronics JB-6397)
We are building a next-generation edge system that samples analog signals at 1 Giga-sample per second, generating ~14GB/s data flow on board. To optimize cost, size, and power consumption, we are transitioning from off-the-shelf accelerator cards to fully custom-designed hardware. We are looking for a highly experienced High-Speed Digital Board Design Engineer who can design complex boards end-to-end — and get them working in the lab on the first spin. This is not a learning role. We need someone who has already built and debugged high-speed systems in production environments. What You’ll Do Design complex high-speed digital boards from architecture to bring-up Work with fast interfaces and high-bandwidth memories Integrate advanced FPGAs (including SoC with embedded processors) Design around high-speed ADC/DAC components Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity simulations Lead lab bring-up and deep system-level debugging
Must-Have Experience 7+ years in high-speed digital board design Proven experience with multi-Gbps interfaces Strong background in SI simulations and board-level debugging Experience taking boards from concept to production Ability to independently own complex hardware development cycles Nice to Have FPGA development experience (Verilog / VHDL) Experience optimizing power and BOM Background in data-intensive or edge systems
