Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer (Detection & Classification) (Hardware & Electronics JB-6410)

Deep-tech startup developing advanced sensing and AI systems is looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer to join its core team. This role is focused on engineers who build real-world signal-driven algorithms, from concept to production, in a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Develop new algorithms from scratch for real-time sensing systems Work on signal detection and classification problems (Detection & Classification) Design algorithms that extract meaningful insights from noisy real-world signals Develop and optimize audio and/or image processing pipelines Work with streaming data from sensors such as microphones and cameras Build AI-based models and agent-driven systems for decision-making Participate in data collection, experimentation, and performance optimization Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team

Requirements 4+ years of experience developing algorithmic systems for real-world applications Strong hands-on experience in Signal Processing – must (audio / image / physical signals) Experience with Detection & Classification algorithms – must Solid experience with Python (AI/ML ecosystem) Experience working with AI / Machine Learning approaches Background in audio processing – strong advantage (e.g., speaker detection, speaker localization, microphone arrays) Strong understanding of low-level signal behavior – advantage BSc in Electrical Engineering / Physics / Computer Science , Msc is a plus Ability to independently drive complex algorithmic problems end-to-end Stable track record and hands-on, execution-oriented mindset Nice to Have Experience with real-time streaming systems Background in image processing / computer vision Experience with multimodal sensing systems Additional Details Full onsite role – 5 days a week Fast-moving startup with high ownership Work on cutting-edge sensing and AI technologies across defense, industrial, and civilian applications
