Senior System Integrator – HW-SW-Optics (Hardware & Electronics JB-6363)
A leading Tel Aviv startup specializing in robotics, hardware, and embedded systems is seeking a Senior System Integrator with deep expertise to own the integration, testing, and experimentation of our complex multidisciplinary system. This is a hands-on, system-level role with end-to-end ownership of integrating hardware, software, embedded components, sensors, and AI into a fully functional system. Full-time, on-site only in the Azrieli area, Tel Aviv. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end system integration and system-level testing of complex multidisciplinary products Plan and execute black-box, functional, environmental, and performance tests Perform hands-on integration, experimentation, troubleshooting, and system-level debugging Collaborate closely with Software, Hardware, Embedded, AI, and Data teams to resolve cross-domain issues Design and maintain test setups, automation tools, and data collection pipelines Define system integration/validation methodologies, priorities, and roadmaps Support high-quality data collection for AI development Evolve into a technical leadership role in system integration and testing
Requirements B.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Electro-Optics, or related field 10+ years in system integration and testing of complex systems Strong hands-on experience integrating hardware, software, and embedded systems Proven system-level debugging and root-cause analysis skills Experience with test automation/scripting (Python advantage) Deep understanding of HW/SW interfaces and common integration failure points Experience with electro-optical systems, sensors, robotics, or embedded platforms (strong advantage) Technical leadership/mentoring experience (advantage) Independent, execution-focused mindset with excellent cross-team communication
