Senior System Integrator – HW-SW-Optics (Hardware & Electronics JB-6363)

A leading Tel Aviv startup in the fields of robotics, hardware, and embedded systems is looking for a Senior System Integrator to own the integration, testing, and experimentation of a complex multidisciplinary system. This is a hands-on, system-level role with end-to-end responsibility for integrating hardware, software, embedded, sensors, and AI components into a fully functioning system. Full-time position, on-site only, Azrieli area, Tel Aviv. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end system integration and system-level testing of a complex multidisciplinary product Plan and execute black-box, functional, environmental, and performance tests Perform hands-on integration, experiments, troubleshooting, and system-level debugging Work closely with Software, Hardware, Embedded, AI, and Data teams to resolve cross-domain issues Design and maintain test setups, automation tools, and data collection pipelines Define system integration and validation methodologies, priorities, and roadmaps Support data collection for AI development and ensure high-quality datasets Over time, take a technical leadership role in system integration and testing activities

Requirements B.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Electro-Optics, or a related field 10+ years of experience in system integration and system-level testing of complex systems Strong hands-on experience integrating hardware, software, and embedded systems Proven ability to perform system-level debugging and root-cause analysis Experience with test automation and scripting (Python – strong advantage) Solid understanding of HW/SW interfaces and system integration failure points Experience with electro-optical systems, sensors, robotics, or embedded platforms – strong advantage Prior technical leadership or mentoring experience – an advantage Independent, execution-oriented mindset with strong cross-team communication skills Important note (implicit but clear) This is not a QA role. The position requires deep system understanding, ownership, and hands-on work in real-world environments.
